15 Minutes - April

Staff Spotlight: Steven Albers
--- K.P. Lennox

“Everything is changing. Except toasters.”
That, my fabulous blogosphere friends, is the life of EAL’s very own Steven Albers. Known better as the Narhwal, Steven is EAL’s other resident columnist—besides yours truly. Although having no likeness to a horn-wielding whale, Steven is nonetheless a figure of much myth.
An avid tennis player and Computer Science major, Steven supposedly spends much of his free time devoted to his studies or devouring copious amounts of lasagna. But I think we know what he’s really up to.

He would compare himself to Mjölnir, the trusted hammer of the Norse god Thor. The earth-shattering might and unwavering courage match that of Steven Albers. He is, indubitably, the model of a man that we all wish to become.

Despite strength and courage of heroic proportions, Steven finds pleasure in the more mundane things. His favorite t.v. show, How I Met Your Mother, is a common distraction during his days off from saving the world.

His favorite day of the week is…yup, you guessed it: Friday. I’ll spare you all the painful and potentially traumatic experience of reading about That Song That Should Not Be Named (check out the video in our monthly rant!).
But honestly, what more can you ask for from a man whose favorite color is the color of victory?
